I kid you not. Baby Magic really works. It gets rid of my dry, itchy, flaky skin without any irritation or clogging. And it lasts all day. My hands, arms, elbows, knees, and feet stay soft and moisturized. It’s a big part of my routine to keep my skin healthy

Hi, 1st Time Mommy!

I use Eucerin unscented on DS. I get headaches from the fragrance in the Johnson's and Baby Magic. I have heard good things about the Aveeno mentioned above.

Neither! I like the Burt's Bees lotion for babies. Other stuff that seems to be good is cream by Weleda or California Babies.

We had Aveeno until dd got excema, then switched to Eucerin and Aquafor. both work great.

I prefer a Johnson's lotion, but not the regular baby one. I think it called Unscented/Sensitive Skin lotion of something along those lines.

Karenn 03-13-2003, 12:22 PM I like Burt's Bees too! celfsh 03-13-2003, 12:34 PM

We used Burt's Bees (absolutely LOVE the smell) until DD got a touch of eczema. Now we are using Cetaphil, which cleared things up practically overnight--good stuff. Still love Burt's Bees, though.

Momof3Labs 03-13-2003, 12:36 PM Neither - I hate the way both of them smell. We use Aquaphor. juliasdad 03-13-2003, 12:40 PM

Cetaphil. Not inexpensive, BUT amazingly enough, our local warehouse club (BJ's) carries it! Very good stuff. They make a lotion, and a rinse-free cleanser. We also use Avent Moisturizing Cleanser and Bottom Balm from time to time, but generally stick with the Cetaphil.

I vote for the Aveeno. It has a very light smell and rubs in easily without being greasy or too heavy.

Neither. Our pediatrician said that all of the perfumes in Baby Magic can cause irritation for some kids. We've stuck with Aquaphor for almost everything from diaper rash to dry skin. If you can't find it on the shelves, ask the pharmacist. they ususually have some in back. We've also used Eucerin and Cetaphil and both work great for dry skin. it's just easier to keep mainly aquaphor on hand.

I just thought I'd add, I use lotion for an "all over" smoother after the bath, but Aquaphor on any skin irritations or dry, chapped areas.

We use Burt's Bees too!! and aquaphor for his cheeks that get so dry.

I don't have time to read the other posts, but I went with the Johnsons head to toe baby bath and for a lotion I use Nivea creme(just the plain variety-in blue tub) My baby's skin is so soft and I bath her daily.
The reason I use these products is that they used them in the special care nursery on my daughter. To me that is a pretty good endorsement.
Good Luck,
LJ

I agree with most of the PP- we use the Aveeno moisturizing lotion. I switched back to the Johnsons this spring because I THOUGHT my DS's skin wouldn't be as dry as in the winter, but I was wrong-the Aveeno works much better. Plus, he was getting some rough patches on his knees from crawling around and the Aveeno smoothed them out almost immediately, while the Johnsons didn't.

We use Aveenoo and like it so far. Now I think I may switch to Burt's Bee or aquaphore since our tube is almost gone. Can someone tell me where to get these? Whole food store?

Reviews for "Achieve Long, Luscious Locks with Eva NYC Mane Magic Shampoo and Conditioner"

1. Sarah - ★☆☆☆☆
I had high hopes for the Eva nyc mane magic shampoo and conditioner, but unfortunately, it did not work well for my hair. First of all, the scent was overpowering and left a lingering smell even after I washed my hair. Secondly, it did not make my hair feel clean or refreshed. Instead, it felt heavy and weighed down, which is something I don't usually experience with other shampoos and conditioners. Lastly, it did not provide any additional benefits like enhancing shine or reducing frizz. Overall, I was disappointed with this product and found it to be ineffective for my hair type.
2. Mike - ★★☆☆☆
After reading rave reviews about the Eva nyc mane magic shampoo and conditioner, I decided to give it a try. However, it did not live up to my expectations. Firstly, the shampoo did not lather well, and I had to use a large amount to cover my hair. This not only made the product run out quickly but also left my hair feeling greasy. Additionally, the conditioner did not provide enough moisture for my dry hair and left it feeling brittle and tangled. Overall, I was not impressed with the performance of this shampoo and conditioner set and will not be repurchasing.
3. Emily - ★★☆☆☆
I wanted to love the Eva nyc mane magic shampoo and conditioner, but unfortunately, it did not work well for me. Firstly, the shampoo stripped my hair of its natural oils, leaving it feeling dry and dull. Secondly, the conditioner did not provide enough hydration to combat the dryness caused by the shampoo. My hair felt rough and tangled after using this set, and I had to use additional products to bring back some moisture and shine. Lastly, the fragrance was too strong and overwhelming for my preference. Overall, I did not see any positive changes in my hair and would not recommend this product.
4. Jason - ★★☆☆☆
I was disappointed with the Eva nyc mane magic shampoo and conditioner. Firstly, the shampoo left my scalp feeling itchy and irritated. I have never experienced this with any other shampoo before, so I was quite surprised. Secondly, the conditioner did not provide enough detangling properties, and I struggled with combing through my hair after using it. It also did not make my hair feel soft or smooth like other conditioners usually do. Lastly, the scent was too artificial and lingered in my hair for hours. Overall, this shampoo and conditioner set did not work well for me, and I will not be repurchasing it.
